Texas 73, Lady Vols 59

Today was mostly a standard Sunday. The bad part was that the Lady Vols lost.

Region 3 of the Tennessee Watercolor Society had an opening reception for it show at the Civic Center. It's a good show, and well put together. We had a good crowd, and it was a nice evening. John & Sylvia came by, and then followed us home at the end.

We had the sweet potato/butternut squash soup for supper, with cheeses and pears accompanying. The soup turned out really good - and it's certainly one that I'll make again. If you're interested in that sort of thing, leave a comment. I'll e-mail the recipe to you.

Tonight's photos are of my pieces at the TnWS show, and one of some of the visitors. The photos are pretty bad, with lousy lighting, but might give you a flavor of the evening.
