I decided to give us a special treat this year. I had a cleaning service come and do a "spring cleaning". Getting stuff out of corners and up off the floor to get ready about killed us. They sent two young women who worked solidly for 3 1/2 hours. And, after all their work (and a lighter wallet), the house looks ever so much better. And now maybe we can sort through some of the junk that we didn't pitch (and hopefully throw away a lot more).
The pictures aren't particularly artistic, but should be quite startling to our family and anyone else who has been to our house.

Terrible news - the
Detroit Free Press has stopped home delivery of the newspaper, except for Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Please, please,
PLEASE don't take away my daily paper!
