The "supper fairy" brought me a pre-birthday present in the form of supper for us this evening. It was a wonderfully tasty chicken/rice/cheese casserole, a salad of tender greens with orange slices, cranberries, and nuts, crescent rolls, and chocolate cake for dessert. She even brought a huge bouquet of lenten roses. How special is that!
John’s feeling much better, but he still has wracking bouts of coughing. Sounds like he might be bringing up a lung. We both hope that will pass soon.
