Decisions

John got depressing news about his hand yesterday. The doc doesn't think it is growing new bone as it should. He (the doc) wants to wait another three weeks, and then, if it's not much better, go back in, rebreak the bone, and put in a plate for fixation. Personally, I wouldn't want to wait that long, and suggested that John just call him and tell him to schedule the surgery. His rowing is already over for the season, and that would give him just that much more time to recuperate before spring. He's thinking about it.

Allan got back from New York today. He's still so enthusiastic about his music - this tirp was partly to get some lessons and see some of his music friends. He also did some lawyer work, and that helps pay the bills.

Today's picture shows one of the FLWright details at Kentuck Knob.
