Sleepy Saturday

I guess I should just skip writing on Saturdays. Most of them I do what I did today - read, knit, and watch the NCIS Marathon on the USA Network.

I do have a new M.C.Beaton to read: Death of a Witch, A Hamish Macbeth Mystery. We do love the Hamish books.

NCIS - I do so enjoy watching this program.

Have watched (and adored) David McCallum since he was in the Brit series "Colditz" in the early 70s, then the children/teens Brit series "Sapphire and Steel" with Joanna Lumley.

The Invisible man followed... but not by me...

Wonderful to find David again - a quirky role in a very quirky show. Great Stuff!!!!!!!

Of course Mickle understands Cricket, grew up with it along with Rugby - prefer Cricket any day!

love and care, Michelle (now knitting a hat)

Dear Mary - is getting very warm where you live. Do your temperatures soar upwards in late July/all of August?

Where I live doesn't get that hot, or that cold either compared to the extremes in part of the US.

have a wonderful Sunday, it was a pleasant one here,

We didn't see those other McCallum series you mentioned, but we loved him in The Man From Uncle. NCIS has a marvellous cast. We especially love Abby. Have you seen that there's going to be a spin-off, NCIS-Los Angeles? They did a couple of shows based with that cast. Looks good - except there's no way to get another Abby.

Re heat - yep, we get our hottest weather in July & August, but our temps have been around 90F lately. John loves it - I hate it!
