I took a trunk-load of unwanted stuff to the Northside Neighborhood House this morning. It’s been sitting on the porch for ages, with me promising over and over to take it away. So it finally did happen today. Of course, I should be going through stuff and taking loads on a weekly basis. But that’s probably not going to happen.
We’ve had a lovely day today, early summer sunshine and humidity. Then about 7 p.m., the wind started to blow, and we had about 30 minutes of a really loud thunderstorm. Lots of crashing and banging and rain, and then it was gone. Fortunately for us, it’s nothing awful like they’ve been having in Texas.
