Soon
John has had probably his worst few days over the weekend and today. He’s had the extreme weakness and lower intestinal difficulties. Only two more radiation treatments, though, and no more chemo. We’ll see the oncologist on Thursday to check labs and set up followup appointments and scans.
Grocery stores tomorrow. And the contractor is due to come by to set up stuff for getting the work done on the deck and the siding of the house.

Oh my. I wish there was something I could say to help. I have been there, too. My husband had stage 3b lung cancer over three years ago. The treatments were terribly difficult for him. But there is light at the end of the tunnel! I promise!
Be sure and take care of yourself too. Cancer treatment is almost as hard on the caregiver as it is on the patient.
