Soggy Sunday

Rain and thunder on and off all day today - even some periods of sunshine.  More like springtime.


John worked the Chattanooga Head Race yesterday.  That entailed his being on the river from daybreak until about 6 pm.  He was working the start line, as usual. It looked like it was going to be stormy, so they delayed the starting time, but it finally cleared off.  They had a few sprinkles, but it was mostly a clear day.


Today was a matter of fixing breakfast, reading the paper, watching CBS Sunday Morning, and doing the laundry.  At least until we ordered pizza.  Missy picked it up, and Tina came by, too.  So the day ended up with our favorites - friends, family, food, and laughter.
