We had a great day. We took John's cousin Bob and Tina from here, and drove the scenic route over the back roads to Margaret's. Everybody got there uneventfully. The food, of course, was fabulous. Bobby fried fish - the best ever. Margaret got the rest done, homegrown tomatoes, vinegar slaw, cornbread, green beans, pinto beans, corn, pulled pork, the fried fish fillets, and banana pudding for dessert. We were all stuffed and so great to see everybody!
We came back on the interstate, with just a few sprinkles and no bad traffic. Those heading west had a hard time working their way through driving rain. It rained hard after we got home, with some wind gusts. Glad we're tucked in safe and sound. I'm sure that'll do us for the weekend.
