That's not the way I learned it

This has been all over the news, but I just couldn’t stop myself from reprinting it. Sarah Palin continues to astound. She actually said this:

"He who warned, uh, the … the British that they weren't gonna be takin' away our arms, uh, by ringin' those bells and, um, by makin' sure that as he's ridin' his horse through town to send those warnin' shots and bells that, uh, we were gonna be secure and we were gonna be free … and we were gonna be armed."

Just in case this wasn't mentioned in the history class you took, Revere was, in fact, riding from Boston to Lexington to warn John Hancock and Samuel Adams of the approaching British army.

Click here if you want to see a video of the quote.

Not the way any of us learned it. I find myself wondering whether she really is that dumb or if she's the clown who was too lazy to learn the lesson and passed the course because she made everyone laugh.

She seems to think she's a star. Maybe she and Charlie Sheen could work up an act.
