First Sunday in October

It was a pretty ordinary Sunday - except for John’s coming home. He got home in midafternoon, and it's great to have him back. It was a wonderful week on the Erie Canal, with a long drive home. He was very glad to get out of the car.

And now we’ll try to get back to what we laughingly call normal.
