Taking Resonsibility
I wonder how many folks watched Obama's speech tonight. I don't usually, but I did watch this one. I don't know how I feel about all this (wishy-washy, I know). I hate all war, and hate that our young men and women are put into harm's way. But I do realize there are some situations that require such things, and I'm not making any judgements.
President Obama took responsibility for his actions. He said
I studied
I consulted
I agonized
I made the decision
He didn't say "we". He didn't say "they". He said "I".
How great to have somebody, finally, who is able to accept responsibility.
