On Christmas Day

We had a very quiet day today - mostly just the two of us, with Allan joining us for dinner. We did talk to all the girls, and some of the grandkids. We're getting ourselves a flat-screen HD TV for Xmas, and will probably do that in the next few days. And we'll increase our fiberoptic TV package to the one including the HD channels. We're looking forward to that!

I marinated a pork loin overnight, and cooked it today. It was probably one of the best I've ever done. Along with it, we had baked sweet potatoes, green beans, cornbread and slaw, and I even made a mincemeat pie for dessert. A terrific Christmas dinner!

It's gone down into the 30s now, but we are supposed to see some sunshine tomorrow.
