Back to work

It was very quiet at the book store. It was looking like there’d be nobody in at all, but a couple of people bought books at about 12:30 (my shift was over at 1). Each shift is responsible for its own money/change/reconciling/etc. I managed to get everything to balance out, the register totaled properly, and was ready for my replacement. But she wasn’t there by 1:10. So I locked up, turned in my stuff, and left. She’ll just have to reopen if she did show up late. Oh, well….

From there I went to get my haircut. YEA!!! John got his haircut on the way to the rowing class later this afternoon. Somehow, our every-three-weeks haircuts always make for a good day.
