Another lazy Sunday

We had a lot of wind this afternoon, and the temperature dropped about 20* in a very short time. No really storming in our area, but unfortunately, it caused a power outage in our neighborhood - ours was out for about 2 hours. At least it was enough to go out to eat supper, and was back on when we got home. And we were SO bad - we went to Five Guys - Burgers & Fries. Yum!

The contractor who is going to do the repairs to our roof and porch came by this afternoon. He’s going to start on the job tomorrow. After that, we’ll wait another month or so, then get some estimates on taking out a couple of trees that might pose a risk in another storm. We’ve known for some time that they probably ought to come out, but just hated to lose the shade. But now we feel that these two recent storms have been Mother Nature’s way of saying, “Hey, dummies! It’s time!”
