Closing the week on Friday. Gail worked us hard in swim class this morning. Coffee surely did taste good when we got to Panera.
I finished getting the turkey ready for the freezer - with the pieces of meat, and more legs and wings in the pot for broth. And there was enough for John to have one last Thanksgiving plate for his supper tonight.
I went to a special dinner with some of the swimmers. Joyce’s church had a Christmas dinner for women. Church members got a table, invited friends to share, and each member decorated her own table. There was a very large crowd. The tables looked lovely, and each hostess had a tray of appetizers on her table. The guests circulated before the main course, getting samples of the various appetizers. The dinner was delicious, but best was sharing fellowship with good friends.

Arctic terns nest near the path, and are VERY protective of their young. They'll dive-bomb anything and anybody.
