Still ailing

I'm posting early today. I may be leaving my laptop at the "hospital" for diagnosis. Once it boots up, it seems to work fine. But it's taking longer and longer to get to that point. The Guru says "it might be a hardware problem, and I don't do hardware." John (who was a hardware guy) says, "that's what they all say". So we shall see...

This baby is nearly 5 years old, and it may just be time for a new laptop with Windows 7 (just issued today). John says I just want a new toy. Not true (at least I don't think it is). LOL

Tomorrow looks like an all-day-rain event, so we enjoyed having an extra day of sunshine today.
