A drippy day

Everything was drippy today - the clouds, the trees, the sky, and mostly my nose. What a nasty cold this is - and I guess I'll have two weeks of it, the usual course of a cold.

I did get out to get the battery and the electrical connection checked out on the laptop. The battery is fine, and there is a loose electrical connection. But, of course, every time somebody else looks at it, it works just fine. And, I have to admit, most of today it was working fine. And then it started acting up again tonight. The girls are starting to nag that I should just get a new one. I'm thinking about it... and looking.
