Follow-up

We are still having some rain and isolated thunder, but there are no more warnings in Tennessee at this time (11:30 p.m.). There are still some in the counties in north Georgia (along the TN and NC state lines) where warnings are in effect. There are no reported fatalities in our area, but a number of injuries and lots of property damage. It'll take tomorrow's daylight to get a more accurate assessment. Thanks for your concern.

We were watching the storm progress on TV last night, and Poptart (my daughter's step) said something like, "at least it's not our area."

And I pointed out that I have online friends in those red boxes. It is like pulling teeth to get young people to think about something other than themselves.

We appreciate everybody's concern. Thanks!

I'm so relieved that you are both okay. While we are now winding down from what our Met Service calls a "weather bomb" which delivered severe storm winds etc..... we didn't have to face the risk of "twisters".

Mickle, sorry to hear you've had storms, too. Never fun.
