I guess today was our first day back to what we laughingly call “normal”.
We went to the Y (John to the Fitness Center, me to swimming), then with the group to Panera. On the way to WalMart, I ran the car through a car wash. This was the first time I’d been out, and the poor car was coated with pollen and lots of leaves from the fallen tree. The wash got most of the gunk off, and there is a very small dent in the trunk lid.
We went to bridge this afternoon for the first time in a month or more - some good cards and some yucky ones - just about the usual. A good supper, and then some computer, knitting, and TV. Back to the exciting life.

Margaret will be going to the orthopedist tomorrow morning, so she’ll find out the severity of the break and the extent of the treatment.
