Some days are like that…

Today was going to be a fun day.

Haircuts; movie with John and friend, Tina; maybe BBQ ribs for dinner.

We headed off to get our haircuts. Our haircutter was supposed to be there at 1, but we were told she was in a meeting with management and wouldn’t be back until 2. Oh, well….. No haircuts for now.

We picked up Tina, killed about 15-20 minutes, and headed for the movie theater. The schedule in last weekend’s paper had said there was a playing of “Get Low” at 2:05. Turns out that was the weekend schedule. During the week, the showings are at 1:15 and 4:15. We got to the theater about 1:45. Oh, well…. No movie today.

It would be 2:00 by the time we got back to the haircutter’s (which is near Tina’s home), so we went back to get our haircuts. She wasn’t out of the meeting, and wouldn’t be for another 10-15 minutes. Oh, well…. No haircuts today.

So we took Tina home.

And we went home.

Some days are like that.
