Quiet weekend

It’s been another quiet weekend. Lots and lots of rain - maybe another 2-3” of rain today, with more predicted to come in overnight. There may even be enough thunder in the morning to keep us from swimming. We shall see.

John wanted to take me out to dinner last night and I was hungry for a good salad. We went to Ruby Tuesday because I know they have a good salad bar. And it was good, plus a crab cake. John had their shrimp and grits. He said it was excellent and brought home enough to have for dinner tonight.

He may have no energy, and he may sleep a lot, but as he says, he still has his appetite, his hair, and his sense of humor.
