Today marked the end of our regular season home games - I mean the home games of the women’s basketball teams that we support. The University of Tennessee Lady Vols and the University of Tennessee Chattanooga Lady Mocs.
John and Margaret went to Knoxville this afternoon to see the Lady Vols play their last regular season home game against South Carolina. The Lady Vols won 73-59.
I went to the ball game here to see the last home game of the season for the Lady Mocs. They played UNC Greensboro and won 77-56. It was great to be able to honor the five seniors who were playing their last home game.
The conference tournaments will start next weekend, and then the NCAA tournament starts on 22 March. Then women’s college basketball will be over until November.

Note: We didn’t watch any of the Academy Awards. We don’t particularly like awards show in general, and haven’t seen any of the movies in any case. I’ll read about it in the paper tomorrow.
