Update

Randy had some episodes of low blood pressure during the night, but otherwise was resting comfortably. They did finally see the cardiologist.

A cardiac catheterization is scheduled for first thing in the morning. The plan is to see if they can open any vessels up to increase the blood flow. If this does the job, the results should be instantaneous. If it doesn't, they will insert a temporary pacemaker. He still holds out some hope that the node will start firing again on its own. If that happens within the next few weeks, he can take the temporary one out. If it doesn't, they will go back in and place a permanent pacemaker.

Randy’s folks will be going down tomorrow. That’ll be a great help for Sue, and support for Randy, too, of course. We’ll be waiting for the phone calls.
