Happy First Monday!
Just went to swimming, Panera, and WalMart today. The city-owned facility where we play bridge is closed for the holiday today, so no bridge. We did take my car for an oil change, etc., since nothing else was going on today.
It's a lovely sunny day today, but quite chilly. At least we didn’t have the snow of the MidWest and the Northeast.
We had a good New Year's Day dinner - pork loin chops, sweet potatoes, and the obligatory black-eyed peas (for luck) - all very good. Mostly we just watched ball games yesterday and today. We'll be going to Knoxville to see the Lady Vols decimate our Lady Mocs. Oh, well - at least it's expected, and it's good experience for our gals. Nothing much else scheduled for this week.

Were you fans of Northern Exposure (1990-1995)? We always thought this was one of the best programs ever. We’ve just started watching the series on Netflix. What a great cast this was! Give it a look sometime.
