Before and after pictures of the two biggest trees that we had taken out. And a slightly out-of-focus picture of Jesse.

My name is Mary Z. John and I live in Tennessee. We've been retired since 1991, and have a passion for travel and photography. I paint, do needlepoint and knit, read, work word puzzles. John is a rower and loves to read and work word puzzles, too.

Oh my, those trees were huge. I'm imagining them in full leaf and feeling very relieved for you and John that you've had them taken out and taken away.
And you all must be so very relieved that dear Jesse is home.
I hope you and all your family have a wonderful Christmas, where ever you and they may be,

I'm off to the parents place today (Tuesday) for Xmas joy and cooking (plus dear Mum has broken her right arm so I'll be doing everything I can to help, along with my usual taking over of their kitchen), Zebby cat is already at his Vets' cattery for his Summer and Christmas holiday - I always feel so guilty and mean leaving him there, and try to remind my self that he is well cared for and safe from attack from other felines etc......
I guess I'm as much of a wuss as Zebby!!! - you are welcome to share this with all your family, xxx Michelle xxx
We had four trees like that when we moved in, more than forty years ago. One succumbed to Hurricane Gloria -- @1986 -- but I'm trying to save the other three.
So good to see the guys come home!
