We had a great visit for brunch with one of my Bosom Buddies and her spouse. They live not too far from Charlotte, and came to spend a couple of hours with us. That's always a treat.
Then we went on to the ballgames - just saw men's games today. Sarah and her friend Emily got here in time for the last two games. Their College of Charleston soundly defeated our UTC Mocs. Unfortunately, during the game, one of the UTC players collapsed on the court. He had to be intubated and given oxygen on the floor, and was taken immediately to the hospital. All we've heard so far is that he's "stable". All good wishes go to him, his family, and the rest of the team family.
Sarah and Emily are staying with us for the next couple of nights. Then we'll head for TN on Monday.
