Happy Valentine's Day!
John got me a Valentine's present - shingles vaccines! We got them at Walgreen's. No out-of-pocket cost - they'll file for insurance - since we're over 65.
Now he’s worried about how to top that for my birthday next month, and looking (begging, even) for suggestions.

That is such a smart choice. I was miserable with them, but recovered after about 3 months. My dad got them this fall and has been dealing with them for 6 months. My mom went and got the shot immediately after she saw how miserable it can be. Get the pneumonia shot, too, if you haven't!
