I was reminded of some other favorite Dr. Seuss stories in the comments from yesterday. Then I remembered
Yertle the Turtle and Other Stories.
Today is one of those days when I have gone absolutely blank on something write. Surely tomorrow will be better.
Didn't we have some of those on LPs? I sure seem to remember an audio version of Yertle the Turtle.

We might have - I don't remember. But the LPs are all gone, in any case. Google it - I found a couple of places that had all the words written out.
